This Scabiosa Mug is decorated with a beautifully painted scabiosa flower, placed prominently at the center of the cup. Each blossom is hand-painted using the “Dami” technique—a traditional Japanese sometsuke (blue-and-white porcelain) method where a thick brush is used like a dropper to create bold yet graceful strokes.

Each flower is carefully painted by hand, ensuring subtle variations that make every piece unique. The presence of this single, delicate flower adds a touch of warmth and joy to daily tea or coffee time.

The mug body is made with the casting (slip casting) method, resulting in a thin, lightweight form that is comfortable to use. Its integrated handle provides an easy grip, and the flat base ensures stability. Designed to be safe and user-friendly, this mug is suitable for everyone—from children to the elderly.
