Anemone Plate / Small

A plate featuring a single blue anemone blooming gracefully in the center, hand-painted using the traditional sometsuke technique called dami, where a thick brush is used like a dropper to create bold, flowing strokes.
Each flower is painted individually, blooming one by one under the artisan’s hand.
Though the design may be hidden once food is placed on it, the flower reveals itself again at the end of the meal, adding a gentle touch of delight.

This handy size is perfect for serving cookies or small treats with tea, or as a side plate during meals.
Collecting different flower patterns is also recommended for family or guests—switching flowers to suit the occasion or your mood makes the table more enjoyable.
